In April 2008, Sonny Ausman was asked to arrange the music for a trombone quartet to perform at the wedding ceremony of his niece, Andi. She wanted some specific hymns (that reminded her of her late grandmother, Sonny's mother) to be played at the ceremony. Sonny enlisted the trombone section of the LA Philharmonic for the project.

When we were in California for a meeting with Pastor Robert Benefield, a former Navy Band, trombonist, we had fun playing Brass trio numbers at his church. He introduced me to this fabulous CD.
